Take the ghost of one Edwina Baldwin sticking around her stinky vacant third floor apartment in New York City waiting for her lover on the sixth floor to finally die and the beginning of story is set. Edwina and Harold had been having a torrid love affair for forty years or so. One would figure that when one or both of them died that would end the affair - but, no, it only complicated matters. Moving into her old apartment was on good looking actore named J. T. Glover. He called himself "Johnnie" when he was in character. J. T. played a homosexual in a nearby theatre. Being a method actor he stayed in character and the three single sisters that lived across the hall from him saw only a gay guy as their new neighbor. Sandy, Kirra and Penny were oblivious to the fact that this ex-marine was not what he appeared to be. Edwina knew, though, and when Harold finally shed his corporal form he knew also. Now the two spirits were free to make love. Ah! There's the rub. They had nothing with which to rub! Taking possession of Johnnie in his sleep Harold could make the man follow his desires. Edwina did the same thing with one of the three sisters across the hall and erotic dreams were fulfilled to their utmost. The real chaos became apparent when all three girls turned up pregnant at the same time never having had sex with anyone! How does one explain that?
