When an injury during soccer camp tryouts sidelined eleven-year-old Jason Adrian, he was certain he was doomed to a miserable summer. But his English teacher unexpectedly came to his rescue. For Camp Ravenwyng was built on the border of a land that was about to become a battleground between the Ravenwyngers -- otherwise know as the Magickers--and their ancient enemies, the Dark Hand of Brennard. And the only hope the Magickers had of winning was to teach Jason and his fellow campers to master their magical powers before the Hand attacked....
