The Lakes Kingdom has a problem. The north and the south are at odds. Talk of war floats about. The solution is simple and brought to Centerland: 13-year-old Ehmelia of Bemin. 432 years after the end of the old world, The Lakes resembles the 1600s -- as opposed to the 2400s. Gone is any progress man made prior. What's left is a world without electricity, or communication, or modern transportation. Will young Ehmelia appease her people of the north?
