The Curse of the Dead…
Sandra returns to Monk's Court after the dead of her father, knowing that he was yet another of her family to fall under the spell of some awful lunacy. Having also lost her fiancé in the war, she now feels that there is nothing to do but live in seclusion with the music she loves.
But as the strange atmosphere of Monk's Court begins to envelope her, she is caught up in visions of the original abbey, and remembers the curse that is said to possess the old house. Sandra suddenly knows that she must be the one to break that spell -- to vindicate her father's death and save her own sanity. In desperation, she turns for help to Bob Colter, a handsome historian who mysteriously begins to explore the mansion as if he, too, were in search of an answer.
As Sandra moves closer to the sinister forces that threaten to destroy her, she asks herself if she has the strength to break this evil spell, or if she will, like the others, fall into eternal madness…
