While doing a life cycle project at school, eighth grader Wendy experiences first hand some of the good and bad aspects of family life when her older brother, his wife, and baby and her grandparents move in with Wendy and her parents.

SOMETIMES GROWING UP CAN REALLY GET YOU DOWN

Wendy has it made. With her brothers and sisters finally off at college, Wendy has a room all to herself and the nearly undivided attention of her parents. As a matter of fact, her biggest worry is getting home from school in time to watch her favorite soap on TV. And then, practically overnight, Wendy's perfect world begins to crumble.

First her brother, his wife, and their newborn baby move in. Then, to make matters worse, Wendy's grandparents also move in. And, as if that isn't enough, her father decides to kick off his mid-life crisis with a positively grody mustache. Even with her famous sense of humor, Wendy can definitely feel her patience wearing thin.

Who ever said being a teenager was the best time of your life?
