Diana Kimpton has written over 30 children's books, including The Bear Santa Claus Forgot, which the Children's Book Council selected as a “Children's Choice” title for 1996. In addition to writing, she runs a children's book review site, builds Web sites for other authors, and is an adoptive parent.

Rosalind Beardshaw has illustrated numerous children's books since her early years in graphic design. She became fascinated by the friendly gentleness of kangaroos after staying in a remote settlement in Outback Australia two years ago.
