Sam, a 20 year old, embarks on a life changing quest that few undertake. On the first day of his adventure, he must choose between two destinations. He has also authored Out of the Forest, and his goal in writing is to encourage believers to move beyond a safe and untested existence into a life of abundance and purpose in Christ. In addition to his passion for writing, Rick serves as a Bible study leader at The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson, TX, and is a frequent participant on mission trips. Professionally, he is an investment advisor and owns his own firm. He holds both a BBA and MBA from Baylor University, and is currently enrolled at Rockbridge Seminary. He and Bev have two grown sons, Reese and Grant. Rick enjoys playing guitar, the outdoors, reading, and is a big fan of contemporary Christian music.
