Partly because of her independent nature, partly because of the way she had been let down in the past, Acting Sister Nina Newington felt very strongly about women's rights and male chauvinism which soon brought her into conflict with the surgeon James Farris. Every time she came near him she seemed to be blotting her copybook and every time Mr. Farris and his male colleagues seemed to close ranks and let her carry the can! But still Nina found she couldn't ignore James. Wasn't she being as big a phoney as the invisible Doctor Bruce Milne she had invented in order to protect herself?
