The Heart's Wild Surf — Stephanie Johnson

Set just after World War I, this is the story of Olive, an adolescent girl living within the Australian colony on Fiji. Her mother is dying of influenza and when Olive moves in with an aunt and uncle, various new characters arrive to change her life and her understanding of it.
