The Growling Bear Mystery

One warm night four children stood in front of a bakery. No one knew them. No one knew where they had come from.

Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny used to live alone in a boxcar. Now they have a home with their grandfather, and are visiting Yellowstone National Park!

The Aldens love exploring the many hiking trails around Yellowstone, especially Lost Cabin Trail. According to legend, a group of miners left a sack of gold nuggets in a cabin somewhere near the trail, but the cabin has never been found. Grandfather's friend has an old map that might show where it is, so the Aldens decide to look for the cabin - and the gold. Suddenly, the trail is closed because of bear activity, and then the map disappears! Could someone be trying to keep the Aldens away from the trail? It's a mystery - and the Boxcar Children are going to solve it!
