The Godstars War — Ronnie G. Anderson

The Godstars War is a compilation of two previous science fiction novels that had been separated by the location of their action - one in the depths of space and the other in the isolated Pacific islands. In both places mankind has survived a viral war that had plagued Earth to the point of desolation. Still, war became the way of life to both divergent societies - one apparently primitive island natives who survive by the strength of their hands and one so technologically advanced that it could not survive without its technology. The two novels have been intertwined and presented in a chronological order. Reading it makes one wonder just which society is the real primitive one.
