The Garden Fairy & Mrs. Mouse — Suzy McGregor

The story opens with the Garden Fairy searching for a home. As a storm arrives, she knocks on a nearby cottage door that slowly opens. She enters to wait out the storm. Returning home Mrs. Mouse is surprised to find a house guest, but serves tea and cookies to be gracious. The rainwater floods under the door and soon they are floating to the ceiling. All the while, Mrs. Mouse is explaining about “faith,” and then, just inches from the ceiling it becomes “blind faith.” In the life threatening situation, The Garden Fairy learns of the power of faith. A walk in the garden brings all kinds of new and fun learning from flowers, fruits, and vegetables the Garden Fairy shares. The cottage next door to Mrs. Mouse was vacated, and is just the right feeling for the Garden Fairy to make a new home. A surprise House Warming Party takes place with all her fairy friends. Each fairy brings a very unique and special gift. It is a story of friendship and love. The Garden Fairy & Mrs. Mouse Meets Ratscallion. Ratscallion is a sneaky, devious and deceptive rat. He redirects Mrs. Mouse and the Garden Fairy's attention to steal their picnic lunch, then it's Mrs. Mouse's copper pan, and finally, the Garden Fairy's magical wand, which becomes his downfall. Whatever words are spoken at the time stardust falls from the Garden Fairy's wand...shall happen! You may forgive once, maybe you forgive twice, but then fate steps in and there is a price to pay for not keeping your "word!"
