The Footprints of the Fiend — William Stafford

Detectives Brough and Miller return for a third investigation when the pubs of Dedley are the sites for the appearance of mysterious, demonic footprints. Brough has to face a demon from his past and Miller finds it's not plain sailing forming a relationship with a colleague.
