"Love is a many-splendored thing." It certainly finds expression in myriad ways, and often laughably--as you will see from these thirty-eight amusing stories. As Socrates aptly said, "To see ourselves as others see us is to break out laughing." To which Aristotle added, "True love is serious business. But making love, when you think about is, is utterly ridiculous." But perhaps mostly truly wise was Confucius, when he advised, "In war between sexes, surrender only way to win battle." So here you have it---thirty-eight skirmishes in the never-ending struggle. Great fun!
