The Extraordinary Adventures of the Ordinary Barney Flarff — Lija Fisher

Barney Flarff is an ordinary thirteen-year-old without a heroic bone in his body. He even suspects he was born without muscles, though his doctor assures him he has plenty. The only thing he's good at is reading books. The more adventurous, the better.
