The English Horses — William A. Luckey

Burn English believes in two things: the freedom of the open range and that any horse he can tame is his to sell. He doesn't make much money, but with nerves of tempered steel and a fair bit of luck, he gets by. Until a foreigner buys up a nearby ranch and starts sectioning it off with barbed wire. Throw in a wayward rustler looking to take advantage of the simmering tension, and next thing you know a range war is ready to blow.
