But twelve years later, a former playmate of Valerie's told Keller Barkley that the vision was a fake.

Barkley, a newspaperman, was writing an expose of “miracle factories and the wonder kids who see visions.” But Valerie, now twenty years old, wasn't what he'd imagined. She was beautiful and fascination, apparently incapable of being either a cheat or a liar.

Or was she? As a good reporter, Barkley vowed he's unmask Valerie Rivard -- but as a man, he wanted only to love her.
