A 400 year old judicially approved execution of an innocent woman stand behind a deadly curse that blights The Edgeworth Horseshoe. Raith House, built at the turn of the 20th century on the Horseshoe houses the dark secret behind the curse. The current resident of Raith House is Ian Tawber. An unwilling psychic, regarded throughout the Borough of North Wallis as being some kind of demonic entity responsible for many of the severe injuries and deaths on and around The Edgeworth Horseshoe, including the murder of his own father, finds himself in the middle of a holy war between good and evil as he struggles to unravel the dark secret of the Horseshoe in order to break the curse. Frustrated and obstructed at every opportunity by the ignorance of those who have grown to believe that he is one of Satan's own, Ian Tawber knows his time is running out. He has to break the curse before it's too late, and the gates of hell are opened, permanently.
