Will Ewing, town constable for Fort Hill, had no trouble keeping order until strangers started arriving. It had all started when the constable's brother-in-law to be, Al Stanfield, returned to Fort Hill and hid a stolen bullion box. Soon it seemed as if all the scum of the West were after the loot. And a lot of them wanted to nail Stanfield's hide too! So the scene was set for a tense showdown between the strangers and the town of Fort Hill.
