Monica is an average Mexican-Americanteenage girl, who lives below the poverty line and struggles to make ends meet.Monica works hard to keep her head above water only to discover she became pregnant by her abusive ex-boyfriend. About this same time her boss, avulgar, self-centered, but wealthy car dealership owner is stricken by an angel and the only words he can speak are Bible scriptures, à la King James Version. To complicate matters further, Monica is the only person who can understand andinterpret what he says.
