This latest book in the Lin Hanna Mystery series, finds Lin traveling to Scotland to assist her friend Sue Gray who is doing research for her latest historical mystery novel. Together the friends soon learn that historical family ties and feelings still run deep in modern day Scotland where issues regarding independence and Brexit are played out against the background of past clan rivalries and unresolved differences. Lin and Sue soon find themselves swept into issues surrounding the death of Scottish parliament representative Angus McQueen and his political rival Jaime Stewart.
