The Boy Ranchers of Puget Sound: At the age of sixteen Frank Whitney is forced by circumstances to earn his own living His distasteful position with a Minneapolis milling company comes to an untimely end, he feels the call of the wild. Frank finds work on a ranch near Puget Sound. He and the rancher's son hit it off together at once, and spend their time working hard and playing hard. But then, a mysterious schooner appears off the coast, and the rancher's team is stolen. As a result, the boys become detectives.
