Beast wanted nothing to do with Beauty. It was the story of her life. Nothing was ever as easy as girl meets boy and they skip off into the sunset together. No, that would be too simplistically perfect. Instead, Jeanne got boy saves girls from murderous rapist, boy tucks girl into bed after breaking into her flat and then disappears, girl stalks boy and eventually finds him, girl thanks boy, and boy blows girl off and tells her to leave him alone.
That was the story of Jeanne's life, or so she thought.
Fate had bigger plans for Beauty and her Beast, plans that even marriage and war couldn't stop, but they'll never see their happily ever after if Beauty can't see past her scars to the beauty underneath.
