Team Valor — Mark Mulle

Dear Diary, Things sure are different in Team Valor than they were in Team Instinct! Candela is a whole lot more intense than Reed was. We work hard every day to get stronger and better, and Candela even trains right alongside us! It's about more than being a strong Trainer, for her. She wants all of us, Pokémon and Trainers alike, to be the best that we can be, at everything we do. It's really interesting getting to learn about all of the responsibilities that the team leaders have. Based on Candela and Spark's personalities, I would never have guessed that they do all of the important things that they do. Blanche seems pretty responsible, but those two… It's really amazing how much respect everyone has for Candela. No matter what happens, they always turn to her for advice. Somehow, with everything, she manages to find the time to talk to anyone who needs her. It's really admirable. I'm training really hard, because I want to be the kind of Pokémon that Candela is proud to have on her team. Everyone else is so strong already, that I have a long way to go to match up with them. But I won't give up! I'm going to work hard and become just as much of a contender as the others! Well, it's time to get back to work! I hope I have time to write again soon. -Gylt Gengar
