As the Fifties give way to the Sixties, the struggle of the Kestrel against the criminals and maniacs of Chagrin City changes. Television has a way of changing the public's mind about the lone twilight conflict between the Kestrel and foes like Diamond Jim and the Night Clown. Despite heartbreak and scorn, the Kestrel continues to root out the guilty and protect the innocent, even as the most implacable foe of all, age, closed in.
