Suki (54,544 words) is a short science fiction novel about the discovery of the dwarf star Nemesis and its four planets. One of the planets was warm enough during the day for liquid water. The Starship Terranova on its way to Proxima B to settle thousands of cyrogenic sleeping Martians rescued from their failed colonization attempt on Mars, decides to make a settlement on the nearest planet to the dwarf star. A young officer by the name of Suki Ai Ola Lamoure is chosen by chance to remain behind with a few other of the crew to start a colony of a thousand recovered Martians. This is her story.
