Sugar 'n' Spice
Things aren't always what they seem!

Take Fran, for example. Heer delicate prettiness belied her sharp intelligence and ready wit. Those who didn't know better thought of her as sweet and shy, an old-fashioned heroine, the kind who adored pale pink and ruffles. Steve obviously loved this image.

Steve was a gorgeous guy. He had all the right qualifications: smooth blonde hair, long eyelashes, a noble profile. Just looking at him was its own reward, Fran had thought. He was every girl's dream.

Question: Now that she was actually dating Steve, why was Fran bored out of her squash?
