Stronger than War — Molly Cutpurse

In the late summer of 1972, Lawrence De Havilland, a successful and analytical surgeon discovers Miss Jennifer Compton-Hepburn, an attractive thirty-year-old, Leading Officer with the WRNS outside his house in Cheyne Walk, Chelsea.Her mannerisms and appearance pose an exotic problem for Lawrence for which there is no logical explanation. Distressed from shock and injuries arising from an apparent explosion, Jennifer tells Lawrence an unreasonable story, which forces him to accept the impossible, and to acknowledge that love is stronger than war.
