Sheaill is a personal slave, just like Tammall. She was purchased for a teenage boy and given to him as a birthday gift. This act leaves a bitter taste in her mouth and is seen as a blatant demonstration of the fact that she is a slave solely because she was born a Zoadiun. This bitterness eats away at her, but she hides this from her owners. While she hates being a slave just because she's a Zoadiun, Sheaill is smart enough to realize that putting it on display will only get her into trouble. Sheaill's life takes several twists, including having Allsa and Tammall enter. With Tammall being happy with her life, what will Sheaill do? Will she learn to accept her life or keep resisting and hold onto her resentment like a warm blanket?This is the fourth book in the series involving the Zoadiuns and their Comp-Terx Masters. Unlike most series, book four does not pick up where book three left off. Sheaill has her own life story to tell, that does mix in with the first three, Ruling Body, No Rest For The Angel and A Reluctant Prince.
