Squeeze — Dennis Latham

First published in Gothic.net in 2002, this story is like a sudden punch in the face you don't see coming. Michael and Gina are going to have a last dinner together in a kind of a cold shoulder celebration of their divorce after they leave court. Gina considers it a celebration, but Michael doesn't share her need to move on. They pick a restaurant where no one knows them in a small Indiana town named Dover. The entire dinner is a bad idea as Michael, Gina, and the entire population of Dover will soon discover.
