Abandoned by her husband, Brenda uses her divorce money to buy the hairdressers where she works, in a small South Wales town. She worries about her son. Him coming to work in the salon seemed a logical move but he is shy and has a lazy eye. He is a talented cutter but he does not fit in well, until he wins a national cutting competition and goes to gain experience working in a top London salon as his prize. To the astonishment of everyone, Rhys returns confident and outgoing. He is a wow with the ladies. Soon he is seduced by a single mother and begins offering special services to her middle-aged friends. All progresses well, with Rhys taking on a naive apprentice to help with the demand " that is until the police get involved.
A humorous tale with some colloquial language and a little lighthearted sexual content.
