Belasco, the demon lord who is one of the X-Men's deadliest enemies, has found a way to destroy the barrier that keeps the evil Elder Gods from overrunning the Earth--by using the X-Men's Rogue! When Rogue is kidnapped by Belasco and possessed by his Dark Ones, the X-Men must find her before the demon lord can implement his mad plan!

But the stakes are higher than even the X-Men realize. Dracula, the lord of all vampires, has his own reasons for wanting Belasco's plan to fail, and he conscripts the X-Men's sister team, Excalibur, to aid in the battle. But does he only wish to help stop Belasco, or is there a more sinister agenda at work?
