Some Day I'll Hit a Bank
My life became lonely and monotonous, almost mechanical in nature, with a mechanism akin to a ticking bomb. It could be ticking for days and weeks, quiet and imperceptible, to blow up everything around at the right time.
This way common folks used to live in the past, bakers and shoemakers. They lived their lives until the revolution burst out. It was their time. And then they went out the door of their bakery and shoe shop for good to take the ministry chairs and cut the heads off the aristocracy, by weaving plots and intrigues.
I knew I will not miss my time. It seemed to me I could go on for another ten years, and one day stumble on a terse line in the newspaper and realize: my time has come.
