Soles isn't the first, or the last story about sneaker-enthused individuals -- sneakerheads. It isn't even just about shoes. Soles, kinda, a little bit, is like life.

Life?

Yeah, life...the life of Walter Cruz, a Ph.D. student who isn't right without his running shoes. A way of life -- common to the sneakerhead -- which brings the unthinkable: a chance encounter with an unattainable girl. Making his best attempt count, Cruz inches closer -- this girl is definitely way more than her shoes -- and falls hard. From there, class, the street, and the old, leave influences abound as all test this unique, Canadian.
