In this collection of 30 short stories the lives of men, women, spiritual beings, and a couple of animals are examined The sporting life, legal affairs, outer space and a grunge band are put under the author's microscope and the wonder of human relationships is scrutinised. Some of the stories are wry observations of modern society while others deal with human foibles. Though there are elements of tragedy, in the end the stories celebrate the human condition.
