When Imani Westbrook travels to her family's vacation home, it's to relax and do a little self-reflection. She's recently lost her job and decides to pursue her passion of painting as a form of therapy until she can figure out what she wants to do next. She can't think of a better place than a beachfront summer home where the stress of the “real world” fades into the background. However Imani doesn't plan to run into Carson Baxter.

Carson Baxter is amused when the gorgeous and intriguing Imani Westbrook labels him as “trouble” the moment he walks over and introduces himself to her. Carson believes in enjoying life and living it to the fullest. Yet, Imani seems to try to avoid him at all cost because of his philosophy.
