Sisters of the Sea — Ronnie G. Anderson

Sisters of the Sea explores the four species of creatures that fall under the category of Mermaids: Mers, Homers, Shaamers and Womers. Three of the four are able to mate with mankind and live on the land. One is relegated to life in the dark depths of the ocean - at least for this lifetime. This novel explores their fight for the perpetuation of their species.
