Twenty-six year-old Claudia Ames, the youngest nurse to attain the position of Ward Sister at St. Chad's Hospital, had had a relationship with wealthy Charles Durbridge for five years and had allowed him to dominate her life. However, when she met attractive Dr. Clive Witney she realised that she didn't love Charles.
