Jo Miller, Abony LePrince, Ranjani Bakshi and Maia English all have something in common. They've all been cursed. Maia has been shrunk to six inches tall; Ranjani cannot walk through a new door without making her mother suffer; Abony is compelled to by a new pair of Louboutins each week, financially crippling her; Jo cannot speak about a humiliating assault without insects falling from her mouth.
 
Each curse was placed by the CEO of their company, after he abused his power to prey on the women. He wants them silent, and he'll use all the magic of fairy tales to keep them quiet about what he did. But Jo, Abony, Ranjani and Maia are not fairy-tale princesses waiting to be rescued. They are fierce, angry women with a bond forged in pain, and they're about to discover that they have power of their own.
