Shelter in New Haven — Terri Grace

When Ruth Brewer finds out that her father's generous inheritance has some very disturbing conditions attached to it, which she rejects. Driven out of the home, she joins a wagon train as its medic and leaves for the West. She soon falls in love with a fellow traveler and they get married, but encounter very frightening problems along the way.
