Shaa Marr is the second novel in the Sisters of the Sea series of mermaid books. Both novels cover the four basic marine humanoid species and introduces a fifth one not confined to the ocean. Shaa Marr explores the problems of love and the prohibitions of breeding between the Mers (those who can only live in the water) and the other Mermaid species including man. When the Queen Mother of all Mers makes her interest all bets are off as to life being boring!
