Evolution of the species is not always a slow moving generation to generation change that creates a new species. Sometimes drastic single generation shifts occur that can spell the ultimate end of one species and the beginning of another. So it was with a young high school girl by the name of Paula Jeanne Moore who discovered that she was pregnant, and not the old fashioned way, she was still very much of a virgin. Other things were strange, too. She could hear other people's thoughts when she concentrated. She knew when bad things were going to happen and - well, she could walk on water. Paula was a NuHuman and a creature that did not need men to survive at all. Every thirty-six cycles of her period, Paula and the girls that she delivered, were destined to deliver a dozen self conceived girls like themselves until they reached the age of three hundred or so. Oh, yeah, telekinesis and teleportation were other factors in their growing powers. Paula's daughter Samantha Layne Moore was just like her mother, only more powerful. Sam's daughter Tatajana Mya Volovich was worse than even her mother had anticipated; for she went silent on her mother and grandmother, hid herself in the world and vowed to end the existence of a species that had no free will over their own replication!
