Monique Du Van was a young dark haired French woman who accidently fell in love with the wrong men - married men. In Paris she became the unwitting mistress to several men whom she had no idea that they were married. After a brief time working at an airlines she fell for a pilot until the woman that he claimed was his sister returned and happened to be the man's wife. Running from her bad run of luck back in Paris, Monique took a job at a place that handled complaints for various companies. She took the ones in French. It was in Atlanta, Georgia of all places and things went well until she fell in love with one of her co workers, an older man. Yes, he turned out to be married to her best friend who also worked at the complaint hot line. Distraught, and the fact that her working visa was about to run out, she returned to Air France and ended up being a stewardess flying across the Atlantic Ocean. It took near tragedy for her to find a love interest who was not already married. This is the convoluted and unbelievable story of her frustrations of love.
