Rum Runners — Jason Lawson

When young Catholic Frenchman Jean Savoie is unable to find work, he falls in with rum runner Captain George MacLaren to help support his widowed mother and siblings. After playing the part of the ghost, he gets recruited to work on the boat. Things are going well, until Jean falls in love with Katie, the same girl the Captain's son wants to marry. A feud ensues, leading to a turf war over the supply of liquor. Shots will be fired, hearts will be broken, and fortunes will be made and lost.
