The third volume of Random Choreography follows Rosalind Herrick, the actress wife of film star Charles Richardson.
Charles is filming in Spain but Rosalind won't leave the children so stays behind. Was that the right decision, given Charles' reputation as a lothario?
In the meantime, she takes the part of Portia in The Merchant of Venice, in a new theatre in Oxford. Soon reports arrive that Charles is indeed having an affair with his leading lady and this time Rosalind is tempted to fall too, for the troubled but handsome actor playing Bassanio.
