Roarke's Wisdom: The Courtship of Hollie continues the story begun in The Defense of Blythecairne. Lord Cedric Roarke journeys to the King's City to apply for the deed to the castle he won from the dragon, accompanied only by his squire Willum of Fairling. There the two of them discover that the king and the kingdom are being manipulated by a fiendish Prime Minister. In the midst of this discovery, though, Roarke finds a treasure worth fighting for: the girl Hollie.
