Hunt makes a speech at graduation, and presents the new U.S. Deputy Marshals with their badges, and makes a presentation at the U.S. Marshals' graduation and gives them their U.S. Marshal Badges. Hunt accompanies Earl to Florida while Clayton escorts Beth to Denver. Anger dominates the union of Earl and his new and untested Deputy Marshals. Hunt steps in when things begin to spin out of control and is forced to make an unpleasant change. They perform a manhunt for the missing Marshal and make a surprising find. Hunt returns to Denver and is reunited with the family. They return to Chicago, and the kids are excited about each having their own room and the generosity of cookies and attention that Martha offers. Hunt returns to work and begins to understand the real meaning of the job. Hunt travels to Bangor, Maine and goes on a dangerous mission with the men to arrest three bank robbers. Hunt begins visiting Marshal offices and gives a few lessons on how to recruit good Deputy Marshals.
