Remains to Be Seen — Jim Ingraham

This is the story of a young female deputy sheriff from Florida who goes to Maine on a federal training program and becomes involved in the investigation of the murder of a college president whose body is found tied to a tree with arms outstreched as though crucified. Her search into the corruption, deceit, and perversion she encounters on the college campus creates a barrier of hatred that threatens her life.
