In this third installment in the Dragons & Machine Guns series, after besting rival Anna Birdsong in a race that saw her finally expelled from America, Amelia looked forward to continuing her reign as the queen of dragon racing in the lucrative Grand National dragon racing championship. Alas, befallen by a bad economy, Amelia soon finds herself bankrupt with only her dragon Danny left to keep her company.

Unwilling to take desperate measures to support herself and her beast, Amelia soon leverages her skills as an expert dragon rider, finding work as a getaway driver for bank robberies. It is here where she meets the mysterious Billy, a man with a hidden past that she falls for, and the two soon find themselves teaming up to pull off some of the most outrageous heists America has ever seen!
