"SEE YOU IN THE FUNNY
PAPERS!"
Dirk Kilpatrick's comic strip wasn't just entertaining. It was intelligent, incisive and not exactly family fare. No wonder he was apprehensive when Vinnie O'Hara approached him.

Vinnie and her father provided the voices for some of TV's best-known cartoons, and now they wanted to tackle his characters, including "Abby," whom he'd created because no real woman could possibly be so perfect . Vinnie came close, though. Very close.
Especially when she talked to him in Abby's cool, melodic tones. Was Dirk actually meeting his dream-come-true?
